MBA Program in Sustainable Solutions – Overview

Envision a more just, prosperous, and sustainable world. The Presidio Graduate School MBA in sustainability program equips students to become skilled leaders of this new world. Our curriculum begins with rigorous management theory and practice—and is combined with environmental stewardship, social justice, and systems thinking. It’s what we call the Presidian Way, and it’s why The New York Times said “If you want to change the world, go to Presidio Graduate School.”

The Presidio Graduate School MBA in Sustainability program is a 53-credit curriculum with 11 required courses, plus three elective courses from one of four specialty concentrations—for a total of 14 courses. Our sustainability Masters's program combines face-to-face classroom experience with the flexibility of interactive distance learning. The program can be completed in 24 months full-time or in 3.5 years if enrolled part-time.

Here is an overview of our application process for admissions to Presidio Graduate School.

The information you provide on the application form and uploaded documents will be saved automatically. You may return to the application form at any time by logging into your application portal.

Pay your application fee and submit your completed application.

A non-refundable $90 application fee is required for applying to all programs. This fee can be paid via credit card directly through the secure application portal prior to submitting your completed application.

Once you have completed your online application, paid your application fee, and submitted it, you will be contacted to set up a final admissions interview.

You will be invited to schedule a time for your virtual 30-minute interview with the Admissions team after you submit your application.

Presidio Graduate School offers need-based and merit-based scholarships to assist new and current students, based both on generous donations and our institutional commitment to creating affordable education for all.

Below is a summary of the scholarships we offer and an overview of how we allocate them based on funding availability, eligibility criteria, and application deadline. Please note that priority is given to full-time students.

The MBA program at Presidio Graduate School consists of 11 required courses and 3 specialty elective courses for a total of 14 courses. Students select the specialty electives that best match their interest and career objective. Courses are designed to build on and integrate with coursework completed throughout the program. The curriculum is designed around three program foundations.

Curriculum

Charges for attending PGS are determined based on the number of credits being taken. 2020-2021 academic year tuition rate is $1,255 per credit for the MBA degree, Dual Degree, and certificate programs.

Fees support student academic experience and apply for all degree programs and each term unless otherwise indicated.

New Student Fee – $350 (first term only)

Please consult the current Student Handbook/Catalog for total tuition cost for certificate programs. While making every effort to keep student costs affordable, Presidio Graduate School reserves the right to revise fees or tuition rates every academic year.

Transportation – (All programs) Students are responsible for their own transportation costs to and from campus.

Books – (All programs) Students should prepare to spend an average of $50 to $200 on textbooks and required program downloads for each course.

Meals and Lodging – All Students are responsible for providing their own meals and lodging.
