Program Requirements
The Full-Time MBA curriculum leads students to develop an understanding of human behavior, attitudes, and skills necessary to achieve effective team-building and working relationships. Additionally, professional development opportunities are integrated throughout the program.
Foundation Courses: 9 hours
- BAA 505 Micro and Macro Economics
- BAA 510 Accounting and Finance
- BAM 530 Business Statistics
Students pursuing the 30-hour MBA will select one elective course at the 600-level or higher offered by the School of Business to fulfill an elective requirement.
Core Program: 24 hours

Specialized Concentration of Study: 12 hours
Students will select a concentration, which requires 12 semester hours (four courses) beyond the MBA core. The concentration must include a customized law course. Concentrations include:

A Mercer MBA Your Way
Mercer’s MBA programs are designed to provide the flexibility and challenging coursework necessary to grow and advance your career. MBA concentrations provide an opportunity to customize a curriculum that aligns with personal and professional goals. Enhance your skills in a specialized area, or build a foundation to pursue opportunities in a new industry through one of Mercer’s MBA concentrations. For just four additional courses beyond the MBA core, Mercer’s 36-hour MBA track includes a specialized concentration and can be completed in as few as 16 months.

When Do I Choose a Concentration?
Students may declare a concentration upon program entry or complete a few core MBA classes before selecting an area of study. Choose from one of eight concentrations options available in the 36-hour MBA track, or pursue a general 30-hour MBA.
