About the Program
The double degree MBA for emerging leaders is jointly offered by GUtech and the Executive Academy of Vienna University for Economics and Business (WU).
The GUtech-WU MBA is an international double-degree program that brings together the outstanding international status of the Executive Academy at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and GUtech with its full understanding of the Omani economic landscape.
WU Executive Academy is part of Vienna University of Economics and Business, the largest university of its kind in Europe, with over 23,000 students from 110 countries. The university is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS, the most prestigious accreditations worldwide for Business Schools. In addition, the MBA programs of WU Executive Academy are accredited by AMBA, the Association of MBAs.
This MBA is designed for professionals seeking to embrace current challenges in a complex and ever-changing business environment. It provides talented professionals with methods and knowledge necessary to become tomorrow‘s leaders, e.g. from leadership, organization, strategy, and finance. The program lasts for 18 months. Courses will be delivered in blocks of four days per month from Thursday to Sunday.
The program will be offered at GUtech campus by a team of highly qualified faculty from WU Executive Academy and GUtech. Successful students will receive two MBA degrees, one from GUtech and one from WU Vienna.

Curriculum
Structure
The GUtech-WU MBA program is structured to impart knowledge through a diverse and exciting modular blended learning approach, including case studies, business simulations, presentations, and interactive classwork.
Each module will be taught by highly experienced staff from both universities at GUtech campus over four days (Thursday – Sunday). The four days are supported by a per-module and post-module phase. The MBA is completed by a master thesis which supervised by faculty of either GUtech or WU.
The entire GUtech-WU MBA program spans a period of approximately 18 months with a workload of 90 credit points (European Credit Transfer System, ECTS). Students can opt to study some modules in Vienna at WU.
