Introduction

The Executive Education Program

Since 2015, ASE has been offering two certificate programs as part of its Executive Education portfolio: the Certificate in Impact Evaluation and Certificate in Quantitative Finance. The Certificate in Impact Evaluation trains students in the design and implementation of impact evaluation studies, analysis and interpretation of experimental and quasi-experimental data sets. It also introduces students to implementation strategies of public policy reforms. The course modules include Introduction to statistical software, Experimental methods and Cost-effectiveness analysis. The program distinguishes itself through its pragmatic teaching approach that focuses on real-life cases and program management. The Certificate in Quantitative Finance seeks to train students in the applications of mathematical and statistical methods to Finance and Management. The program also provides training in market finance and auditing with the aim of preparing students for management in the banking sphere. Some of the modules include Financial Markets, Statistics and Applies Econometrics. Both programs are open to professionals holding a least a Master’s degree who have a desire to understand public policy systems, finance and project management.
