Master of Business Administration (MBA)

MBA is a general management program for students who already have at least two years of experience of managerial work. The program offers a rigorous core curriculum with a wide range of electives that allow students to customize their MBA to meet individual interests and needs. Two sorts of MBA programs permit MBA candidates to choose a specialization and schedule tailored to individual requirements.

Regular MBA is a two-year part-time program. The program permits to increase qualifications without interrupting a career.

Aim of the MBA program

The main goal of the program is to let students broaden their professional horizons and to help realize their career potential to the fullest. Regular MBA students attend classes twice per week in the evenings and one full day on the weekend; the program is supplemented by distance learning.

MBA Program Curriculum

The curriculum includes compulsory foundation, management and change management modules. A wide range of electives is also available. Curricula are constantly reviewed and updated to ensure that graduates will be able to cope with rapidly changing business environments and to meet the challenges facing them, whether in manufacturing, commercial and financial services, consultancy or public sectors.

At the end of the program MBA students present their diploma theses, which can be a summary of a professional project, a business plan or a market research. Typically, the diploma thesis is related to the professional activity of MBA students. This last important step allows students to strengthen their analytical skills and to bear witness to the knowledge and skills acquired at GSBA.

MBA students may choose to specialize in Operations Management or in Logistics. The School also proposes a customized MBA program in Kazakhstan.
