Books, materials, course registration and lodging accommodations (for monthly students) are provided, along with free parking and many meals. Curriculum The 21-month curriculum builds a solid foundation of business fundamentals. Case studies and group projects link theory with current business practice. Themes based on current trends in business, including the impact of technology and globalization, are threaded through the entire curriculum. Students frequently use their own organizations as laboratories, applying lessons learned in the classroom and then bringing the results back to the class for further discussion. International Study Seminar In a global marketplace, executives need firsthand knowledge about operational innovations, new business practices, and critical economic issues affecting businesses in other countries. To emphasize this global outlook the Executive MBA Program offers a culminating international study seminar. The valuable connections, insights and inside information students bring back from the study tour makes this feature a high-return investment for them and their sponsoring organizations. The international seminar is optional. It generally takes place between Winter and Spring Quarters of the second year. Student cost approximates $3,000 plus airfare. Target audience Designed for mid- to senior-level managers and executives with ten or more years of work experience, the Executive MBA Program focuses on business fundamentals from a leader's perspective.
